Erik is originally from the Portland area. He has lived in Karlsruhe for 1 year, 2 years in Heidelberg and 1 year in Dortmund Germany, in addition to briefly living in Montpellier France and Split Croatia. He holds a double Bachelors Degree in German Studies and Business Administration from Portland State University and has taught both English and German in private language schools in Baden-Württemberg for 3 years to both children and adults. He also worked for over 10 years at a health club as a personal trainer and swim instructor to both children and adults, in addition to organizing children's summer camps in Portland area.
In his free time he likes to travel, learn new languages, running, hiking, reading and playing the piano.
