Liedertafel Harmonie
The Liedertafel Harmonie (German Singing Society Portland, Oregon) has been a tradition in Portland since 1923.  We are a vital link in Portland's German community, keeping German culture alive through our concerts, dances, picnics, singing at Oktoberfests, and much more.  An annual Christmas concert is the highlight of our yearly schedule, with our audience growing every year. Together with a festive gathering afterwards for a traditional German Christmas dessert buffet, and an authentic German Christmas bake sale, our concert has truly become an event not to be missed in Portland.

The Liedertafel Harmonie has about sixty active members who meet weekly on Friday nights from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the German House at 7901 SE Division Street, except during the summer months.

We enjoy singing and also our social time afterwards.

As with all other choirs in the North Pacific Singing Federation, we are committed to continue what all of our founding members enjoyed and wanted to preserve German songs, German culture, the German language, German Gemütlichkeit, building strong friendships among choir members, other German choirs, and our community.

If you have Friday nights free and like to sing, or like to socialize, please come and join us.

We welcome visitors and new singers, and of course, being German and speaking German is not a "requirement".

Please see the calendar of events for our latest schedule.
